Fanny Ann`s Saloon in Sacramento

Straight out of a time warp. Four stories of local memorabilia and history. Food was good enough to keep me coming back. Bar had some great craft beer on tap, which is all a really care about.

Great bar. Fun, friendly bartenders. Cold beers and plenty to look at. Great place to stop in for one (or more) if you're in the area.

This place is hidden. When you enter you think its just a bar but they serve some really good burger here. My very favorite was the veggie burger. OMG! i've never had a veggie burger that tasted like meat. It was very delicious. I only gave 4 stars because the fries were a little bit salty. Love the decor. Staff are nice too. yup a definite repeat.

Stopped here for lunch. Good atmosphere, good food. Just a bit crowded.

I love this place. It has been an icon in Sacramento for a long time. Used to visit when I was back going to Sacramento State University. Now I only get to visit once in awhile. They still have great food. The zucchini sticks are outstanding. Always friendly bartenders. Plenty of beer. Great atmosphere. Wonderful crowd. Everybody maintains themselves for the most part. I can't wait till this place fully opens again to visit.

Nostalgia stop. This was our hangout in our college days. It's been forever and a day since we've been here. We may have changed over the last 30 years, but Fanny Ann's has not (to be fair, Fanny Ann's was old to start with). I couldn't be happier to find she is still going strong and a fantastic place to spend an afternoon

One of my favorite downtown places, plenty of places to sit, good food, good drinks, dance floor is really small. Usually older crowd.

Funky joint. Great decor, good prices, decent craft beer selection. Friendly staff. Didn't eat here, but the food smelled amazing. A must see!

Self service food. Order at the counter and bring your food to find your own table. Order drinks from the bar separately. No virgin (no alcohol) drinks. Fish and chips (or salad) were ok.

Fanny Ann's is AMAZING... If you're in town and looking for some good food this is a good place to go.. Nice beer selection and the people are super friendly... The food is self-serve [meaning you'll have to place your own order and then grab it from the counter]

Fanny Ann's Saloon is one of my wife's & my favorite places. Everything that we've tried is really good. Walking by you'll think it's a bar, but in the back you order your food & theres seating upstairs and down stairs, there's video games too. My wife LOVES their Wings & Garlic Fries(the back 2 trays of food in my picture) & I got the Monster Tots & the Big Poppa Burger, so damn good! Plus they have good Moscow Mules & craft beer( Waldos by Lagunitas).

Great atmosphere. Mouthwatering burgers. Eclectic atmosphere.

Food was great, drinks were great, cooks were great. Bartender stood at the other end of the bar complaining about bad tippers. Lucky for her I'd already paid my tab & tipped her. Felt cheated on that part, but the food was delicious!

This restaurant is a pub-type atmosphere with wooden stairs and handrails on five floors covered with whimsical signs, antiques, and decorations, including a full old-time carriage hanging from the stairway. Delicious bar-type food that has great curly fries and a bar for drinks, but you will really want to come for the atmosphere! Annie's is found in the old-time Sacramento section of the city. I would have given it an excellent rating for service, but I would prefer a waitress to self-service; however, I can see with five floors, it would be a nightmare to wait on all the floors and tables.

The food was awesome and the atmosphere in this old western style pub is amazing. Great time with great friends and great food.

BEST BURGERS IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA! Yum! The char burgers at Fanny Anne's Saloon are simply unsurpassed. The atmosphere can be somewhat noisy but the outstanding burgers and beer more than make up for the chaos. Also the decor --- you really have to experience the eclectic interior decor for yourself. It's not for everyone, granted, but entertaining nonetheless. And, there's plenty of room to enjoy your beer, burgers and fries as there are several upper floors in the restaurant.If you happen to be in Old Sacramento, do stop in. I've been going to Fanny Anne's Saloon since I first moved to California in 1978. 😁

If ever in old sac area try the "jiffy burger & the peanut butter beer" together😍🍻🍔 It is wonderful! The door security recommended it to us since were outta-towners. This place I believe is three stories of interesting decor. Lots for the eye to see!

Haven’t been here in several years but when I lived in Sacramento this was a favorite of many. Great food, music, service and the atmosphere was unbelievably friendly fun happy!!!

A great place to grab affordable drinks, burgers, fries & wings. They offer daily specials & happy hour.

This place is pretty cool. Came in on a Saturday afternoon and I'm glad I did. The menu is original and packed with plenty of options. It was pretty hard to decide what I wanted because of all the choices. I went with the Jiffy Burger... Peanut butter Thick cut baconCheeseLettuceTomatoThe burger itself was good. The peanut better mixed well the bacon and cheese. I was also surprised that the peanut butter didn't stick to the roof of my mouth. Overall I give the dish a B+. Nothing bad to say about it.

Fun, quirky bar with reat burgers and wings, a must see when you are in Old Sac.

This place is five stories of American memorabilia. With a Bar & Kitchen tucked underneath it all! Order your own food from the kitchen window and pick it up there also. Quick easy food.

Great place to relax, people watch, eat good food or all the above. The staff was very friendly and kind. Prices were appropriate.
